Orioles Lose By a Run at Oakland, 3-2
|
Oakland Athletics starter Mitsuo Kuriyama pitched a strong game against the Baltimore Orioles at O.co Coliseum, leading the Athletics to victory, 3-2. Danny Nsoah earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Getting the save was Kyle Ehret, his 9th.
Oakland took a 3-2 lead on Ryan Langlois's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Baltimore pitcher Jay Rapini in the bottom of the seventh.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Kuriyama.
The victory makes Oakland 14-17.
