Rojas 5-for-6 Against Idaho Falls
|
Aberdeen first baseman Raul Rojas had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Idaho Falls Chukars at Melaleuca Field as the Ironbirds picked up a 29-1 victory.
"He was patient up there today," Aberdeen skipper Tyler Beede told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Rojas has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Raul Rojas grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Timotheus Cooper in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
So far this year Rojas is batting .337 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
