Great Stroke: Haun Gets 5 Hits
|
It seemed Idaho Falls Chukars center fielder Jeremy Haun could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right.
The Chukars fell against the Tri-City ValleyCats by the score of 26-24. Haun did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Tri-City prevailed at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Haun said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."
Jeremy Haun walked in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 9th and struck out in the 9th.
This year Haun is batting .209 with 2 home runs. He has scored 23 runs and driven in 30.
