It wasn't easy but the West Virginia Power made it look that way.

Starter Ryan Rakoff shut out the Atlanta (MID) Braves despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the West Virginia Power cruised to victory, 8-0. Rakoff allowed only 4 hits and rang up 6 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

This season Rakoff has fanned 42 in 41.1 innings and collected a 3-1 record with a 3.05 ERA.
