|
Chicago Cubs starter Randy Budgell was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Cleveland Indians, 4-2. Budgell got the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 2 hits and walked 4 over 5.1 innings. Budgell allowed 2 runs. The wins continue to add up for Chicago, with the latest making it 7 in a row.
In the bottom of the first, Kaeo Zirpoli hit a 2-run double. The 14th double of the season for the Chicago center fielder put the Cubs on top, 2-0.
