White Sox Get Past Minnesota for 3-2 Win
|
The Chicago White Sox picked up a win at U.S. Cellular Field, taking down the Minnesota Twins, 3-2. Starting pitcher Tadatoki Yoshida was a big reason why. Adam Ratcliff snagged the win in relief. In 1.2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 1-2 on the season. This win makes it 7 in a row for Chicago.
Brian Feher was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the White Sox right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
Yoshida attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
