Quijada on Fire: 6-for-6 for Los Angeles (NYP)
Fans at Las Palmas Complex got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season.

The Los Angeles (NYP) Dodgers outplayed the Batavia Muckdogs en route to a 22-8 win, but the standout was center fielder Jonathan Quijada. Quijada netted 6 hits in 6 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line.

"Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Muckdogs manager Connor Kaden said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too."

Jonathan Quijada doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

So far this season Quijada is batting .348 with 4 home runs.
