The San Francisco Giants beat the Chicago Cubs, 6-3, at AT&T Park. San Francisco left fielder Willis Robles had an outstanding performance. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Giants bumped their record to 49-36 with this win.
Robles contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat among others that helped San Francisco get the win.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Robles. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
