Gonnella Batters London Big Time
It was a sensational day at the plate for Darryl Gonnella as he led the charge to a 19-6 win over the Majors. The Trois-Riveres left fielder was pure misery for the London pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Gonnella put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Andrew Albers, manager for the Majors, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Darryl Gonnella singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Bryan Mattis in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Currently Gonnella has 6 home runs and a .381 batting average.
