Phillies Best Braves, 8-5
|
Philadelphia starter Marko Emchenko pitched well against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 8-5. The third-place Phillies have a record of 44-62.
With one out in the bottom of the first, Rich Sullivan barreled up a changeup from Victor Munoz. The result was a grand slam home run, putting the Phillies in front, 5-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Sullivan.
