Kasahara Delivers Walk-Off Win for Cubs
Jared Speck had a good game, but he could not keep the Washington Nationals from falling, 10-9, to the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The Washington left fielder went 6-6 with a home run, a triple, 2 doubles, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 in the loss. The winner in relief was Eric Oakes. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 4-1. With the win, Chicago upped its record to 82-37.

The Cubs relied on shortstop Yasuhide Kasahara for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

"Exciting game to play in," said Kasahara. "Getting the win makes it even better."
