Tigers Lose to Indians, 5-2
|
The Cleveland Indians defeated the Detroit Tigers, 5-2, in American League action at Progressive Field. Cleveland pitcher Danny Murguia had a standout performance. The Indians raised their record to 44-89.
Arvin Dungca helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Indians.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Murguia.
