Castleberry Socks 2 Home Runs in 4-2 Chicago Win
|
Chicago and Minnesota duked it out and the White Sox came out victorious.
The 4-2 Chicago win over Minnesota was due largely to Steve Castleberry. The White Sox right fielder hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The American League Central Division-leading White Sox have a record of 107-43.
With Chicago leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Castleberry hit a slider from Brett Grijalva for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the White Sox ahead, 4-0.
Castleberry called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
