Mets Reel Off Another Win

The Philadelphia Phillies got a superb performance from center fielder Eric Katz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat New York. The Mets won the game, 8-4. Katz hit 2 home runs. The second-place Mets have won 8 straight games.
Gus Berry, the New York center fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 8-0, Mets. For the game, Berry went 1 for 3, while adding 3 RBI.
