Allen Goes 5-for-7 Against Gwinnett
Tyler Allen really did a number on the Gwinnett Braves -- and the Gwinnett did one right back on Allen's IronPigs, taking the Coca-Cola Park contest 7-6.

Allen delivered a huge 5-for-7 performance for Lehigh Valley, but did not deliver the victory.

"I felt real good in the batter's box today," the 32-year-old center fielder said after putting up a game for the ages. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Tyler Allen hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th, struck out in the 13th, walked in the 15th, doubled in the 18th and walked in the 19th.

Allen is swinging at a .333 pace on the year with 4 home runs, 24 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has played in 37 games.
