DiCicco Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Midland second baseman Zack DiCicco had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Corpus Christi Hooks at Security Bank Ballpark as the RockHounds picked up a 13-0 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Midland skipper J.D. Martin told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. DiCicco has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Zack DiCicco hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Bill Garcia in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This season DiCicco is swinging the bat at a .246 rate with 44 hits in 179 at-bats. To date he has hit 10 home runs, scored 23 runs and driven in 29.
