Mariners Take It on Chin, Lose, 10-0, to Texas
|
Javy Falcon hurled a fine game for the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington today, holding the Seattle Mariners to 4 hits in a shutout win.
"When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Texas manager Juan Smith said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is."
The right-hander had 13 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 10-0 victory.
"An outstanding job," Seattle manager Aaron Schiff said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game."
