Diamondbacks Deal Phillies 6-4 Loss
The Arizona Diamondbacks downed the Philadelphia Phillies, 6-4, in 10 innings. Eric Klasek led the way, going 5-for-6 for Arizona. Sean Hartgrove came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Arizona goes to 4-6.

Arizona won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Rico Romero on the mound for Philadelphia, catcher Alec Thorpe hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Diamondbacks fans to their feet.

"I like to lead by example," said Thorpe. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
