Dodgers Lose to Giants, 8-6
|
Despite a great performance by Los Angeles shortstop Clay Buchanan, the San Francisco Giants defeated the Dodgers by the score of 8-6 at AT&T Park. Buchanan went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The loss drops the Dodgers to 12-9.
Ryan Doss, who is tied for 4th in the NL in extra base hits with 12, helped out the San Francisco cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.
Doss called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
