Jorge Lagunas did a number on the Cavaliers in the University of Florida 20-9 victory today, and the number was 5. The Gators first baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Davenport Field to lead his club past the University of Virginia Cavaliers.

"I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Jorge Lagunas hit a three-run home run off Amari Miller in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off David Zuniga in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Denzel McPherson in the 8th.
