Red Wings Derks Suffers Setback Monday, July 18th , 2044 The Rochester Red Wings received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Peer Derks would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Derks, who is currently out with a bruised back, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 21-year-old center fielder will have to spend another 4 days in treatment. Derks's current batting average stands at .231 and he has chalked up 1 home run and 15 RBIs. |
