5-Hit Blitz by Reno's Solano Friday, July 22nd , 2044 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Reno's Jon Solano made it happen today against the Dodgers. Everything came together at the plate for the 29-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Aces to a 8-0 win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Solano said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jon Solano hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Thus far this year Solano has hit .390 with 4 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
