Ervin Wins AL Player of the Week Honors Monday, September 19th , 2044 Ben Ervin burst onto the American League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Pawtucket garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (11-for-22) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. This year Ervin has hit at a .264 pace and produced 58 RBIs, 13 home runs and scored 89 runs. |
