Buffalo Takes Conference Championship Thursday, October 20th , 2044 The Buffalo Bisons "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Conference Championship and eliminating the Round Rock Express, according to series MVP Alex Ramos. "This is the big stage, we're off to the World Series and looking towards the World Series," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine." Buffalo won the final game 8-6, to wrap up the series 4-1. Ramos led his team to the series win by putting up a .389 average, with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Conference Championship finishes. |
