Friday, November 11th , 2044
At the age of 22, Ken Intagliata says he still has a lot to learn about life in International League.
But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Pawtucket Red Sox reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2044 American League Reliever of the Year.
"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Hurricane, Utah native said.
For the season, Intagliata had 4 saves in 49 relief appearances, which totaled 63. He fanned 70 betters, while walking 25 and put up a record of 1-2 to go with his 1.43 ERA.
He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 30. Joe Jordahl of the Omaha Storm Chasers finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Gary Caldwell of the Scranton WB RailRiders finished third with 1 first place vote.
