Munoz Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Wednesday, August 17th , 2044 Jon Munoz's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 3-for-4 in a 14-3 Colorado (EL) Rockies triumph over the Harrisburg Senators at Colorado Rockies Complex. The 22-year-old second baseman has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Rockies. Jon Munoz grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year Munoz is batting .366 with 7 home runs, 45 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |
