Bad News for Ott and Midland Thursday, September 15th , 2044 Lee Ott is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for shoulder inflammation. Apparently the injury worsened, so the RockHounds sent the 24-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Ott told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Ott will now miss a minimum of 5 months. Ott has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-2 record with a 6.29 ERA. The Midland reliever has limited opposing batters to a .296 batting average. |
