Injury Brings Season to End for Vazquez Sunday, September 25th , 2044 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Portland Sea Dogs: reliever Michael Vazquez is out for the year. Vazquez suffered a damaged elbow ligament on 09/21/2044. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. This season Vazquez is 3-and-5 with 32 saves and a 3.02 ERA. He has given up 50 hits in 65.2 innings with 82 strikeouts. |
