Criollo Rips Tennessee for 5 Hits Sunday, September 25th , 2044 The Altoona Curve upended the Tennessee Smokies at Smokies Park today, thanks in large part to right fielder Pedro Criollo, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Curve to a 17-3 victory. Pedro Criollo struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Chris Rosinsky in the 9th. So far this season Criollo has gotten 119 hits in 461 at-bats for a .258 batting average with 15 home runs. His stats include 66 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He has played in 131 games. |
