Injury Shuts Down Rios for Season Sunday, May 29th , 2044 Obviously disappointed, Guillermo Rios confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Greensboro third baseman offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 29-year-old Rios suffered a broken bone in the elbow on 05/28/2044 and has been out of action since. In his season totals Rios has 2 home runs and a .262 batting average. |
