Fans at Whitaker Bank Ballpark today watched Ehm power the Delmarva Shorebirds to a 18-0 win over the Lexington Legends, blasting a trifecta of home runs. "I've always loved hitting in Whitaker Bank Ballpark," the catcher told reporters following his big day. "You can see the ball so well." For the game, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 5 RBIs. Julio Ehm hit a two-run home run off Brian Straub in the 3rd, walked in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Alex Cid in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Allen Crenshaw in the 9th. So far this year Ehm has hit .205 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
