Machado Silences Augusta, 6-0 Monday, August 22nd , 2044 It wasn't easy but Nate Machado made it look that way. Machado silenced the Augusta GreenJackets, 6-0, in a Kane County Cougars triumph at Lake Olmstead Stadium today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Machado said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 3 walks and 6 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." |
