Munguia Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits

Chris Munguia was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Baseball City Complex, the Minnesota (NYP) right fielder blistered the Idaho Falls Chukars for 5 hits in 7 at-bats to pace his club to a 30-1 victory.
"Munguia was too tough to get out today," Chukars skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Chris Munguia singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Randy Stapleton in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
This season in 109 games, Munguia has hit at a .297 clip with 132 hits, 8 home runs, 70 RBIs and 114 runs scored.
