Doubledays Fraunfelder NL Hitter of the Week Monday, August 29th , 2044 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National League, but last week Gabe Fraunfelder of the Auburn Doubledays reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Fraunfelder rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (12-for-24), 2 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Fraunfelder has hit at a .284 clip with 53 RBIs, 11 home runs and 40 runs scored. |
