Doubledays Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 30th , 2044 It's no surprise that the Auburn Doubledays have been bad this season. But those who might not have been paying close attention to the math might not have realized - the team is now officially eliminated from postseason contention. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2035.In total, the Doubledays have missed the playoffs 26 times in their 29-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Doubledays have only made the playoffs once. |
