Top NYP Reliever Honored Sunday, November 13th , 2044 He may only be 24, but Jon Juarez of the Aberdeen Ironbirds has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the McNamara Division. The reliever was today named the NYP Reliever of the Year winner for 2044. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 2 saves in 59 relief appearances and 109 strikeouts in 94.2 innings. He had a record of 7-2 to go with his 2.76 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bobby Carroll of the Vermont Lake Monsters finished second in voting, while Nelson Dawson of the Hudson Valley Renegades finished third.
