Vida Strokes 3 HR Against New York (WIN) Sunday, December 28th , 2042 Milwaukee (WIN) Brewers right fielder Joe Vida had a magnificent game against the New York (WIN) Mets today, rocketing three balls out of Ensigns Ballpark to help the Brewers take the 32-5 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Vida went 4-for-4 with 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Milwaukee (WIN) manager Campbell Lipe said later. "Seems like Joe found his home run stroke today." Joe Vida walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ian Daniels in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ian Wright in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Hiranyadanta Unmesh in the 8th. Vida is hitting .242 in 2042 with 14 RBIs and 6 home runs. |
