League Punishes Pair for Fighting Monday, November 30th , 2043 After an intense confrontation, both the Padres Devin Hottenstein and the Red Sox Adam Thomas were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent San Diego (WIN)-Boston (WIN) game. Devin Hottenstein will miss 4 games, while Adam Thomas was suspended for 8 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Devin Hottenstein commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Presently Hottenstein is hitting .231 with no home runs and 1 RBIs. He has played in 6 games and scored 1 times. |
