Perteet Gets No-Hitter Against Miami (WIN) Sunday, December 6th , 2043 Philadelphia (WIN) is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Chris Perteet. The 19-year-old hurler was dominating against the Miami (WIN) Marlins, leading the Phillies to a 6-0 win at Bright House Field today. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Miami (WIN) manager Eric Hosmer said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Perteet had 16 strikeouts and gave up no walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Perteet said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today." |
