League Rules Edwards Out 4 Games Friday, December 18th , 2043 New York (WIN)'s Leon Edwards made contact with the home plate umpire during a dispute in the game with the Twins yesterday and he will have to pay for it. Edwards violently disagreed when he was called out on strikes. During the intense discussion he bumped chests with the umpire and was immediately tossed out of the game. Today the league commissioner gave him a 4-game suspension. Still steamed by it, Edwards told BNN, "I think the ump bumped me and he is the one who should be suspended. I'm going to appeal this sucker." In 2043 Edwards has hit at a .262 clip with 16 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and has scored 12 times. |
