Yankees Cruise to Divisional Series with Sweep

The New York (WIN) Yankees appear poised to make a serious run at the World Series after a convincing sweep over the Kansas City (WIN) Royals in the Wildcard Series.
It's now on to the Divisional Series for New York (WIN), who won the final game 8-5 and took the series 2-0.
"Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said New York (WIN) second baseman Jeremy Lewis, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year."
For the series, Lewis hit .444 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs.
The New York (WIN) Yankees will play against the Boston (WIN) Red Sox in the next round. Boston (WIN) had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Divisional Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
