Reds Heading to Divisional Series Sunday, January 24th , 2044 It was a sweet sweep for the Cincinnati (WIN) Reds as they eased past the Tampa Bay (WIN) Rays to advance to the Divisional Series. Cincinnati (WIN) won the final game by a 4-0 count and the series 2-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Dave Barefoot, who was named series MVP. For the series, Barefoot hit .286 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Cincinnati (WIN) Reds will play against the Los Angeles (WIN) Angels in the next round. Los Angeles (WIN) won their series against the St. Louis (WIN) Cardinals 2 games to 0. The Divisional Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
