Blue Jays Win Divisional Series Saturday, January 30th , 2044 The Toronto (WIN) Blue Jays have beaten the Texas (WIN) Rangers in the Divisional Series, despite a strong performance from Rangers left fielder Pauli Gassinger. Gassinger was given MVP honors for his performance even though his team came out on the losing end of the series. "It's a good news, bad news thing I guess," he said. "Unfortunately the bad news is really bad -- our season is over." Toronto (WIN) won the final game by a score of 4-3 at Surprise Stadium and took the series 3-1. The Toronto (WIN) Blue Jays don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Washington (WIN) Nationals - Oakland (WIN) Athletics series. Oakland (WIN) leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes. |
