Reds Advance to World Series Monday, February 8th , 2044 Fans of the New York (WIN) Yankees groaned when Saulo Maina stepped up to the plate in the League Championship. And for good reason too, as the Cincinnati (WIN) Reds player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Yankees. The series was clinched tonight at Ed Smith Stadium, with Cincinnati (WIN) coming out on top 5-2 in the deciding game. Maina's strong series included a .500 batting average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Cincinnati (WIN) Reds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oakland (WIN) Athletics - Toronto (WIN) Blue Jays series.
