Cardinals Pitching Ravaged by Aragon
Friday, December 2nd , 2044
Salvador Aragon was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar.
After the 23-year-old Arizona (WIN) Diamondbacks right fielder tallied 5 hits in 7 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 5-4 decision to the St. Louis (WIN) Cardinals.
"That was no fun," Aragon said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win."
Salvador Aragon singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, hit a solo-shot off Pat Dantzler in the 12th, singled in the 14th and walked in the 16th.
Currently Aragon is hitting .333 and has collected 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 7 times, while playing in 8 games.
