Salvador Aragon Wallops 3 Homers for Diamondbacks Friday, December 9th , 2044 It was a good day for the Arizona (WIN) Diamondbacks and an exceptional one for Salvador Aragon. The 23-year-old right fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Diamondbacks beat the Kansas City (WIN) Royals 10-7 at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Aragon said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 4 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Salvador Aragon flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dan Dill in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Geraci in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Bryan Boykin in the 8th. In the current season, Aragon has put up a .358 batting average with 19 hits, 7 home runs, 15 runs batted in and scored 12 runs. |
