Another Setback for Los Angeles (WIN)'s Danny Roe
Saturday, December 24th , 2044
"It's worse than we thought." That was the news from the Dodgers clubhouse today as it was learned that reliever Danny Roe will be out for an added 3-4 weeks as a result of a recent injury. His treatment for a hamstring strain will have to be extended. Initially it didn't seem the injury was a major concern, but the Los Angeles (WIN) reliever told team trainers of some discomfort yesterday morning, and upon examination it was determined to be a more serious injury. "We'd rather take this thing slowly and make sure Danny gets back onto the field healthy," said the team's head trainer.
So far this year Roe has been credited with no saves, registered a 0.00 ERA and struck out 13 in 11.2 innings. He also has a 2-0 record.
