Jon Ledesma Wallops 3 Homers for Reds Friday, July 29th , 2044 Jon Ledesma showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the San Francisco Giants and sparked the Reds to a 6-5 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Great American Ball Park." For the day, Ledesma collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 3 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Cincinnati skipper Jimmy Silveira II said. "Jon really put on a show." Jon Ledesma hit a solo-shot off Nicolas Coppola II in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Nicolas Coppola II in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Borisz Barciniak in the 7th. Ledesma is hitting .293 this year with 22 home runs and 56 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .339, 27 walks and scored 68 times. |
