Rogers Runs Hit String to 25 Straight Games Sunday, August 7th , 2044 Robbie Rogers has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Boston designated hitter picked up 1 more today against the Houston Astros and now has a 25-game hitting streak. The Red Sox won the game 3-1. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being."
