Silveira Sizzles -- Smokes Diamondbacks for 5 Hits Sunday, September 4th , 2044 Dalton Silveira was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles second baseman blistered the Arizona Diamondbacks for 5 hits in 8 at-bats to pace his club to a 7-6 victory. "Silveira was too tough to get out today," Diamondbacks skipper Bob Stefanski said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Dalton Silveira doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, singled in the 13th, doubled in the 15th and hit an RBI single in the 16th.
